Fair Entry – Programs and services for low income Calgarians

Our Fair Entry Program lets you apply for multiple programs and services with one application. Your income will determine which subsidies you qualify for.

Applying for Fair Entry

To apply for fair entry you will need to fill out the Fair Entry application form or large print version. Paper copies of the form can be picked up at the Municipal Building and Village Square Public Library drop off locations. As part of the application, you will need to prove your income.

 

How do I prove my income?

Details about proving your income can be found in the application. The eight accepted proofs of income are:

  • Assured Income for Severely Handicapped benefits (AISH)
  • Alberta Works: Income subsidy/support
  • Alberta Works: Learners
  • Alberta Works (Alberta Health Benefit)
  • Resettlement Assistance Program
  • Independent youth letter
  • Canada Revenue Agency: Notice of Assessment (Low Income Cut-Off)
  • Letter from a Registered Social Worker (RSW)
