Finnish Lessons:What the World Can Learn from Educational Reform in Finland

The most important things I want to highlight from this video is, he stated inequality affects many things not just education and everyone should be help responsible for education not held accountable. I recommend watching both videos and the top one twice including the Q&A at the end.

 

In the video below, I really like how he shares his niece’s efforts to become a teacher in Finland and the graphic at 14:36 where it states “For the fair assessment everybody has to take the same test: Climb that tree.” Who knew one picture could explain the problems with standardized tests!
