Is France’s supermarket waste law heading for Europe?

This should head world-wide….. Everyone needs to think about wasting food. I`m not a big fan of Food Banks, I would recommend charities that have the time to find ways of using the food. Individuals who use the Food Bank don`t always have the knowledge or time to use the food up before it goes bad – remember this food is already past its prime. As well, some individuals are struggling with challenges that life has thrown their way and just want to eat comfort foods, like junk food snacks or meals already prepared, which might not be a healthy choice for them. Click here to learn more or read an excerpt below.

Under the law, stores of more than 400 sq m would have until July 2016 to sign contracts with charities or food banks, and to start giving them unsold produce.
